X-Ray Inspection

X-ray inspection is a technology based on the same principles as automated optical inspection (AOI). It uses X-rays as its source, instead of visible light, to automatically inspect features, which are typically hidden from view.

Scienscope – X-Ray Inspection

Automated X-ray inspection is used in a wide range of industries and applications, predominantly with two major goals:

  1. Process optimization, i.e. the results of the inspection are used to optimize following processing steps,
  2. Anomaly detection, i.e. the result of the inspection serve as a criterion to reject a part (for scrap or re-work).

Scienscope’s X-Ray inspection systems division offers state of the art X-ray cabinet systems with the highest performance to price ratio in the industry today.

Scienscope has over 16 years of experience selling solutions as a leading NDT (non-destructive test) supplier of x-ray inspection equipment into the electronic, medical device, materials, and biological markets. Our advanced x-ray systems feature high power micro-focus x-ray sources up to 130kV, high resolution digital detectors, large inspection stages with 350° degrees rotation, oblique angle inspection, and all of the manual and automated s/w tools you expect in an advanced system are included.

Scienscope – AXC 800 X-Ray Component Counter

Manual component counting requires hours and includes the possibility of miscounts resulting in machine down-time, inaccurate inventory management, and ultimately reduced profit margins. Seamless and flexible automation means more up-time on the assembly line and increased productivity. Component counting using Scienscope’s X-Ray technology can take only seconds for an entire reel. Increase productivity with the most accurate, fast, and easy to use component counter available.

Techvalley

With its own technology, Techvalley has developed major core components and products from small and medium-sized inspection systems to high-energy X-ray systems. Techvalley has been providing various kinds of industrial X-ray inspection/analysis systems for all the industries including metal, electric/electronic, semiconductor, automobile component, secondary battery and container, etc.

As proven by more than 50 important patent status and intellectual properties, Techvalley’s history is the history of Korean industrial X-ray inspection systems.

HAWKEYE9020 AXI  is an X-ray automated inspection system which was developed solely by Techvalley in 2014. It is detecting defects of various inspection items by applying special algorithms developed by Techvalley’s own image software team. It is possible to detect not only one-sided mounting board but also duplicated images of double-sided boards. Techvalley realized the best cost-effectiveness, world-class inspection speed and detection power by 100% self-technologies.
